Questions We Get Before You Commit
Customs handling, shipment visibility, cargo insurance, and billing terms — answered with the operational specificity a supply chain director needs to make a decision.
Do you handle customs clearance?
Which countries do you clear freight through?
Yes. Our in-house compliance team manages customs clearance, HS code classification, and all required documentation for every shipment. Your operations team does not need to track regulatory filings.
We operate across major trade lanes covering North America, Europe, Asia-Pacific, and the Middle East, with established broker relationships at all primary entry ports.
What documents do I need to provide?
Can you handle restricted or regulated cargo?
A commercial invoice, packing list, and bill of lading or airway bill cover most shipments. We identify any additional documentation — certificates of origin, permits, or licenses — when your quote is issued.
Certain cargo categories require advance notification and additional permits. Contact us with your commodity details and destination country before booking so we can confirm scope and compliance steps.
How do I track an active shipment?
Do you provide estimated delivery dates or windows?
Every active shipment appears on a 24-hour tracking dashboard with handoff-level status updates — loading, in-transit, customs hold, and final delivery confirmation are all logged.
We quote committed transit dates, not delivery windows. If a delay occurs at any handoff point, your account manager is notified before you are and a revised schedule is issued immediately.
Is cargo insurance included?
How do I file a cargo claim?
Claims are filed through your account manager with supporting documentation — delivery receipts, photographs, and the original packing list. Liability terms and claim timelines are provided in your service agreement before cargo moves.
Basic carrier liability is included on all shipments. Full cargo insurance covering declared value is available and recommended for high-value or fragile goods — we can arrange it at the time of booking.
How are freight quotes structured?
Do you handle warehousing separately from transport?
Quotes are itemized by origin/destination pair, mode of transport, cargo weight and volume, customs fees, and any warehousing or last-mile components. No line is bundled without disclosure.
Warehousing can be booked as a standalone service or integrated into a full end-to-end shipment plan. We operate bonded and non-bonded storage facilities depending on cargo type and destination requirements.
Still have a specific question?
Our operations team answers freight inquiries during business hours. Send us the details of your shipment and we will respond with specifics, not a brochure.
